Electric & Automation Engineer

Location: Topfibra Headquarters – Ajdovščina, Slovenia/home office

Type: Full-time, on-site (2-3 days/week)/remote (2-3 days a week)

What you will do

• Design and develop industrial automation software, equipment, and production systems

• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, spare parts lists, and engineering documentation

• Support production teams in solving automation and equipment-related issues

• Improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and performance

• Contribute to equipment analysis and preventive maintenance planning

• Participate in installation, commissioning, and design improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field

• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control systems, and automation technologies

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Beckhoff, Schneider, or similar)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial production

• Knowledge of continuous improvement methods

• Familiarity with production machinery, automation, or process optimization
