Senior BI & AI specialist

We currently have a full-time vacancy for a Senior BI & AI Specialist.

As a Senior BI & AI Specialist, you play a leading role in bridging Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, and Applied AI, with a strong focus on turning data into measurable business value. You are responsible for collecting, analysing, and transforming data into valuable insights that support strategic decision-making, project performance, cost control, and planning activities across the organisation.

In this role, you take ownership of the design, reliability, and continuous evolution of the BI, AI, and analytics landscape. You actively shape how AI is applied to improve operational efficiency, enhance project performance, and strengthen decision quality. You act as a sparring partner for both management and various departments, identifying opportunities to apply data and AI solutions and translating business needs into practical use cases.

You will work with modern technologies such as Power BI, Dynamics 365, Copilot Studio, AWS, Azure, and automation tools including PowerShell, contributing to the further digital transformation of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively identify opportunities to collaborate with stakeholders to develop and deliver data-driven insights and solutions;
• Define and enforce BI standards and best practices across the organisation;
• Develop, configure, manage, and maintain BI dashboards and reporting environments to support decision-making;
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes;
• Integrate various data sources, including APIs, databases, and cloud services;
• Analyse complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights;
• Monitor trends and identify opportunities based on data analysis;
• Identify business challenges and translate them into analytical or AI-driven solutions;
• Develop, design, and evaluate practical AI use cases aligned with business objectives;
• Lead the implementation of AI solutions, including predictive analytics and process automation;
• Promote a culture of proactively identifying and applying AI opportunities;
• Improve data quality, consistency, and overall data management practices;
• Maintain and optimise Dynamics 365 to support business processes;
• Automate IT and data-related processes using PowerShell;
• Support the documentation of systems, processes, and solutions in a structured manner;
• Train and support end users in the use of BI and AI tools and reporting solutions;
• Test, implement, and continuously improve new IT and data solutions;
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data integrity requirements;
• Stay up to date with developments in BI, AI, and related technologies;

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as IT, Data Science, or Business Analytics;
• Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in a similar BI or data-focused role;
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI and data visualisation;
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a strong advantage;
• Proven experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell;
• Knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and data pipeline development;
• Hands-on experience with applied analytics and AI techniques is preferred;
• Strong analytical skills with a structured and solution-oriented mindset;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights;
• Proactive, hands-on, and innovative attitude;
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams;
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
