Role: People & Culture Operations Specialist
Location: Hybrid. With on-site presence mainly in Dublin, and occasionally in Waterford office locations.
Reporting To: People & Culture Manager
Terms: Full-time Permanent
Salary Range: €44,000 - €57,000

Job Purpose:
The People Operations Specialist will play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR operations service while leveraging HRIS, data analytics, and a digital mindset to optimise people processes and standard operating procedures.
This role combines People & Culture generalist expertise with a strong focus on maintaining accurate data, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across HR systems, processes, and service delivery.
The role will take ownership of HR data and reporting, ensuring accurate, meaningful, and actionable insights are available to support the People & Culture strategy and wider business objectives.

Job Purpose:

The role will take ownership of HR data and reporting, ensuring accurate, meaningful, and actionable insights are available to support the People & Culture strategy and wider business objectives.
HR Operations
Provide operational support across the employee lifecycle including promotions, transfers, and leavers.
Maintain accurate employee records in line with company policies and data protection requirements.
- Liaise with payroll to ensure accurate and timely data inputs.
- Support the administration of employee benefits and related reporting requirements.
- Support compliance in areas such as Garda Vetting and work permits to ensure audit readiness, and reporting accuracy.
- Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and other relevant P&C frameworks.
- Support end-to-end recruitment including, advertising, interview coordination, and pre-employment checks.
- Partner with hiring managers to deliver efficient and consistent recruitment processes.
- Support the organisational onboarding process to ensure a structured and engaging employee experience.
- Monitor probation and performance review processes.
- Analyse recruitment metrics (e.g. time-to-hire, source effectiveness, conversion rates) to improve hiring outcomes and workforce planning.
- Own and manage HR data reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all systems.
- Through the existing systems, develop, maintain, and enhance HR dashboards and reports covering key metrics such as headcount, turnover, attrition, absenteeism, recruitment activity, and performance.
- Analyse people data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing clear, actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Support workforce planning through data analysis, including forecasting trends, identifying gaps, and monitoring organisational changes.
- Translate data into clear, accessible insights for non-technical stakeholders, including senior management.
- Use data and insights to identify opportunities to improve and streamline HR processes.
- Support the optimisation of HR systems (HRIS), including reporting capabilities and data structures.
- Contribute to digital and reporting enhancements, including automation and improved data visualisation.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the People & Culture Manager.
Education & Qualifications:
- Third-level qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration and or HR Data Analytics or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- CIPD membership desirable
- 3-5 years of experience in a People & Culture or HR operations role with significant exposure to recruitment and onboarding and data analytics.
- Strong HR Analytics and systems knowledge (Cezanne experience an advantage).
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and data management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
