As we continue to scale, we are investing in the product team to match our ambitions. This is a high-ownership role for a product manager who wants to work on a platform that matters — one where freight is infrastructure and every feature you ship is used by real businesses every single day.

What this role is

The Product Manager at MachShip owns the strategy, prioritisation and delivery of key product initiatives. You are the connective tissue between engineering, design, operations and commercial teams — translating customer needs and business goals into a platform that stays ahead of the market.

This is not a coordination role. You will define where the product goes, back those decisions with data, and see them through from idea to release to optimisation. The scope is significant:

• Own product roadmaps aligned to MachShip's strategic objectives, defining vision, goals and success metrics.
• Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements, epics and user stories.
• Prioritise and groom the backlog with rigour — using data, impact assessment and a sharp sense of what actually matters.
• Work hand-in-hand with engineering to drive delivery, remove blockers and maintain quality.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and manage smooth, high-quality feature rollouts.
• Engage directly with customers to understand workflows, surface pain points and validate solutions.
• Monitor usage analytics, support trends and onboarding feedback to identify where the platform can improve.
• Analyse product performance quantitatively and qualitatively, driving continuous improvement through iterative cycles.
• Evaluate build/buy/partner decisions to support MachShip's growth strategy.

What we are looking for

We care about what you can do. That said, you will likely bring:

• 3–5+ years of product management experience in SaaS, logistics tech, supply chain or a related domain.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex product features end-to-end — from discovery through to delivery and iteration.
• Experience working with engineering teams in agile environments, writing requirements that actually get built the right way.
• Strong analytical instincts. You are comfortable in data, know which metrics matter, and let evidence drive your prioritisation.
• Clear, precise written communication. Your requirements, user stories and product documentation are a benchmark others work to.
• Stakeholder credibility. You can hold your position in a room with engineering, commercial, and leadership teams — and bring them with you.
• High organisation. You manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball in a fast-moving environment.

Highly valued, but not required:

• Understanding of freight, transport or logistics workflows.
• Familiarity with SaaS platform architecture and how technical constraints shape product decisions.
• Experience with analytics and backlog management tooling.
