We are looking for a Software Engineer with full stack development experience.

Please note that this role is not open to sponsorship of any kind. (i.e.: OPT, H1B, TN).

What you will do:

Maintain a full-stack development environment with technologies including Java, Spring, Mulesoft, Node.js, WebSphere, Ant, Relational Databases, AWS, REST APIs, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and JSON.


  • Triage production support issues and develop software fixes with a short turnaround time. This may require in-depth troubleshooting and reverse engineering of existing code.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to collaborate with team members.
  • Develop feature enhancements to meet new business requirements.
  • Prepare code merge requests and database changes for deployment.
  • Perform regular code reviews.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Perform unit testing and write test scripts for QA.
  • Recommend improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team.
  • Encourage innovation.
  • Help design critical software components, systems, and features.
  • Mentor and train other team members on design principles, and coding best practices.


Required Qualifications & Skills:


  • 3+ years of software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages
  • Experience with Java, Spring, WebSphere, Ant, Relational Databases, REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and JSON.
  • Experience with code versioning in a continuous integration/deployment setting
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with, Mulesoft, Node.js, AWS, Angular.
  • Experience with localization and accessibility. Experience with integrating multiple business systems. Experience working on large scale enterprise B2B systems.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager AEM


Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.

#DISNEYTECH

The hiring range for this position in California is $120,000-$145,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
