Junior Project Manager

Job Purpose

The Junior Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional projects within the Program, Portfolio and Process (PPP) team. The role contributes to ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with Straumann Group’s strategic objectives.

Working closely with senior project managers and cross-functional stakeholders, the Junior Project Manager helps coordinate activities, track progress, and ensure transparency across project lifecycles. The position provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to complex projects and develop project management capabilities within an international and dynamic environment.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional projects
• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely execution
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations
• Coordinate communication between stakeholders across different functions and regions
• Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies in a structured manner
• Support project governance processes and ensure alignment with internal standards
• Assist in resource planning and monitoring of project progress
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and tools
• Support senior project managers in day-to-day project activities
  
  

Requirements

• Initial professional experience (e.g., internship or 1–2 years) in project coordination or project management
• Exposure to working in cross-functional or international teams is an advantage
• Experience in structured environments (e.g., healthcare, medical devices, Pharma or similar industries) is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
• English: advanced level
• Green or back belt beneficial
• PM Tools like Asana, Jira, Smartsheet
