Back End Developer

Would you like to work on building modern, scalable back‑end solutions as part of an experienced and agile team?

ALTEN Finland is looking for an experienced Back End Developer to join a long‑term project working with up‑to‑date technologies in a cloud‑based environment.

The role is mainly remote, with on‑site work approximately once per week (Helsinki or Jyväskylä).

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Strong hands‑on experience in back‑end development using Golang and/or Kotlin
• Experience working in public cloud environments
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with event‑driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g. Kafka)
• Background in agile software development
• Fluent English communication skills

Considered a plus:

• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
• Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g. Terraform)
• Familiarity with advanced data solutions (such as graph databases)
• Understanding of networking fundamentals
• Interest in improving team ways of working and development processes
