Role Overview
As a Senior Information Analyst, you will focus on information and data analysis within the Policy Administration System and across related systems, such as financial systems, CRM, and POM (Payment Operations Management). This role includes analyzing production data, ensuring alignment with business rules, and supporting operational and project-based initiatives.
You will play a critical role in analyzing outputs such as tax sheets, broker commissions, and similar data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Validation
- Analyze and validate production data (e.g., tax sheets, broker commissions) against business-defined rules and standards.
- Compare outputs with expected results, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights to the business.
Information & Systems Analysis
- Evaluate and improve data flows within the Policy Administration System and between other integrated systems (e.g., financial systems, CRM, POM).
- Support incident management by assessing data-related issues, troubleshooting root causes, and facilitating resolutions.
- Analyze system outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business processes.
Business Support
- Collaborate with business teams to address queries related to annual works, reports, and operational data.
- Support stakeholders in understanding data analysis results and their impact on business operations.
Project Involvement
- Contribute to large-scale projects, focusing on system integrations and data analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across multiple systems and project streams.
Collaboration and Agile Practices
- Work within an Agile scrum team consisting of analysts, developers, and testers.
- Act as a key liaison between scrum teams, business stakeholders, and external suppliers.
- Support DevOps practices, including continuous improvements and issue resolution.
Skills and Experience
Technical Skills
- Proven experience in Information and Data Analysis, including validating and comparing system outputs (e.g., tax sheets, broker commissions).
- Strong ability to gather, organize, and analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and solutions.
- Familiarity with Policy Administration Systems and financial data flows (preferred).
- Proficiency in working with large datasets and reporting tools.
Professional Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent data validation, troubleshooting, and documentation capabilities.
- Good communication skills to translate technical findings into business-friendly insights.
- Ability to work in Agile/DevOps environments with cross-functional teams.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Analysis, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an Information or Data Analyst.
- Proficiency in data gathering, validation, and analysis techniques.
- Strong communication skills in English & DUTCH (spoken and written).
