Ardent Blue Technologies is a software development and staff augmentation company doing  business since 2011. We have secured well recognized Fortune 500 clients in a number of domains including game development, game/film/architecture tools, game anti-cheat, IoT, VR and others.

Our client is a global cloud and game server hosting company that continues to win awards and recognition as one of the fastest growing companies in the last decade. They are presently looking for a Senior Goland  Backend Developer. This backend engineering role will be using Golang to build services and APIs that power billing logic and integrate systems like HubSpot and NetSuite, shaping how production data flows across the organization. You’ll design greenfield architecture, define customer and product data models, and own billing workflows end-to-end—using SQL for validation and reconciliation while collaborating with a small team and a Business Analyst.

This is a full-time position. Candidates in the Netherlands are preferred, however EU candidates that can travel to the office regularly will be considered 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and improve billing, product, and customer data flows across systems
• Design and execute data migrations and ETL pipelines with validation and rollback
• Build backend services and APIs (REST/gRPC) in Go to power billing logic
•  Standardize product, pricing, and billing models across platforms
• Integrate external systems (ERP, CRM, payments, inventory) into reliable workflows
• Ensure observability with logging, monitoring, and alerting
•  Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Business teams to define and validate logic

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent or Fluent English
• 5+ years in backend engineering (Go, .NET, or PHP; Go preferred)
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (MariaDB/PostgreSQL)
• Experience with data migrations, ETL pipelines, and complex data modeling
• Experience building and integrating REST/gRPC APIs (OAuth2, JWT)
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Ansible/Terraform a plus)
• Strong testing practices (unit, integration, TDD)
• Experience integrating third-party systems (ERP, CRM, payments, etc.)
•  Comfortable owning systems end-to-end in an Agile environment
• A portfolio including significant contributions to complex and notable products.
• Professional experience working with networking and/or devops: ideally automation, configuration, performance optimization, orchestration, security.
• Experience building API’s and services in Go.
• Preferred: Experience in high-load environments.
