Position Overview:

This Data Analyst role supports Dakota Bodies and CM Truck Beds within Truck Equipment. The position partners with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive data-driven decisions, improve forecasting, and enhance business performance. This role is critical to supporting the SIOP process and scaling analytics capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports

• Analyze sales, inventory, production, and forecast data

• Support SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning)

• Develop data models from ERP and business systems

• Identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities

• Automate reporting and reduce manual processes

• Ensure data accuracy through QA and validation

• Present insights to business stakeholders


Core Requirements:

• Power BI fundamentals (DAX, modeling, visualization)

• SQL curiosity / eager to explore and develop

• Advanced Excel skills (Lookups, Pivots, Power Query)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication and attention to detail

• Microsoft 365 Suite Experience


Preferred Qualifications:

• Manufacturing or distribution experience

• SIOP / supply chain analytics exposure

• Forecasting or demand planning experience

• Python or R (nice to have)

• Cross-functional collaboration experience


Experience & Education:


• 1–3+ years in an analytical role

• Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field
