As a Scrum Master, you will support one to two Agile product teams in achieving their objectives while enabling alignment and coordination across the broader product family. You will help teams deliver value effectively, remove impediments, and continuously improve Agile ways of working.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Scrum.
Posting Type: Replacement Position.
Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $86,000 - $110,000.
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Your Moneris Career - What You'll Do
- Serve as Scrum Master for one to two Agile product teams, ensuring consistent application of Scrum and Agile practices.
- Facilitate core Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily standup, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner with the Product Owner and Tech Lead to identify and remove impediments, manage dependencies, and address risks impacting delivery.
- Coordinate with other teams through Scrum of Scrums and product-family level synchronizations to support cross-team alignment.
- Track and analyze team metrics to monitor progress toward sprint goals, outcomes, and OKRs, and surface trends to stakeholders.
- Support the Product Owner and Tech Lead in aligning on team vision, priorities, and measurable objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, trust, and psychological safety within the team.
- Collaborate with Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, and the Scrum Chapter to strengthen Agile maturity and organizational agility.
Required skills and experience
- Scrum Master certification or equivalent designation.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a technical diploma, or comparable professional experience in software development.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Scrum Master, Agile Lead, or similar role supporting software delivery teams.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and applying Agile principles in evolving delivery environments.
- Experience working with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or similar approaches.
- Experience working across organizations of varying sizes and maturity, with the ability to adapt Agile practices to different contexts, constraints, and operating models.
