Developer (Remote – Romania) | English-speaking Role

About the role

We are looking for a Developer to join an international, English-speaking team working on innovative and technically challenging projects. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from technical analysis and architecture definition to development, testing, and continuous improvement.

The role covers a wide range of technologies and projects, including Web applications, Android Automotive solutions, mobile apps (Android, iOS, hybrid), back-end services, infrastructure, and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of requirements, flows, and functional definitions.
• Design and validate solutions through Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to assess feasibility, usability, and acceptance.
• Define and create project architecture, selecting appropriate design patterns.
• Apply best programming practices across architecture, performance optimization, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Estimate technical tasks (features, improvements, bugs) using Story Points.
• Develop assigned technical tasks following agreed standards and timelines.
• Use the selected ticketing tool to track progress and report task status.
• Create and maintain unit tests and UI tests.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to other team members when needed.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: daily meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Developer working on complex technical projects.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Experience with unit testing and UI testing.
• Comfortable working in English on a daily basis (spoken and written).
• Based in Romania and available for hybrid work.
