Senior Project Manager - SDLC Transformation Lead

Project opportunity to lead the transformation of the software development lifecycle of a leading Swiss Financial Services provider.

The program will move the SDLC towards AI enablement and readiness, implementing AI-ready engineering practices at group level.

This is a contract assignment until late 2027.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead an enterprise-wide SDLC transformation program with end-to-end ownership
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams across engineering, architecture, security, risk, compliance, operations, and data/AI
• Drive executive stakeholder management and decision-making in governance forums
• Ensure measurable outcomes (time-to-market, quality, resilience)
• Lead adoption of modern SDLC standards and AI-readiness across business units
• Build momentum through structured communication, engagement, and change initiatives
• Own scope, budget, dependencies, risks, and reporting

Key Requirements

• 7+ years of experience leading large-scale transformation and software delivery programs
• Strong background within banking or financial services
• Proven experience managing executive stakeholders in complex environments
• Deep understanding of SDLC, agile frameworks, and modern engineering practices (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, DevSecOps, CI/CD)
• Strong leadership across international, cross-functional teams
• Early AI adoption project experience is a plus
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Degree-level education and relevant project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA)
