We’re partnering with a client tackling a complex, highly interconnected eCommerce platform, and they’re looking for a Mid–Senior UX/UI Designer to make an immediate impact. This is a high-priority role requiring strong UX thinking beyond UI, with a focus on improving end-to-end user experience, solving complex challenges, and driving meaningful structural improvements across a connected digital ecosystem.
With a strong emphasis on conversion rate optimisation (CRO), you’ll bring a commercial mindset to continuously refine customer journeys and deliver measurable results. You’ll work within a small, collaborative team, playing a key role in mentoring and embedding UX best practices while confidently influencing decisions and outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Auditing the current website experience and identifying areas for improvement, particularly within a complex and interconnected system where changes in one area can impact others
- Taking the lead on CRO initiatives, continuously refining user journeys to improve conversion performance. This will involve both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring improvements are both practical and impactful.
Key requirements will include:
- Bringing at least five years of experience in UX/UI design, being comfortable working in complex environments and having a track record of navigating interconnected systems.
- A strong understanding of CRO is essential, along with the ability to think commercially about user experience. You’re someone who can quickly get up to speed, identify key issues, and start delivering value from day one.
This is a 6-month contract role based in Sydney, with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office). You’ll be collaborating closely with a local and interstate team, so strong communication and teamwork are important.
If you’re a UX designer who thrives in complexity and enjoys making a tangible impact, we’d love to hear from you.
