We are recruiting an IT Senior Project Manager to work for a client operating in the healthcare sector, public and/or private, in Portugal. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end‑to‑end projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality, while working closely with healthcare stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage medium to large-scale projects from initiation to closure
  • Act as the main point of contact with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare clients
  • Define project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Monitor project performance and ensure successful delivery of agreed objectives
  • Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams
  • Prepare and present project status reports to clients and senior management
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in project management


Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager
  • Proven experience working with clients in the healthcare sector (public and/or private) – mandatory requirement
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Information Systems, or a related field, like Healthcare
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (waterfall and/or agile)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
