A client of mine in Germany are looking for a freelance Backend Engineer to join on a 6-month contract, building and scaling high-performance backend services in a collaborative team environment.

Skills/Tech;
6+ years backend engineering experience
Strong Kotlin & Spring Boot skills
Solid SQL & relational database experience
Event-driven architecture (e.g. Kafka, SNS/SQS)
Cloud experience (ideally AWS) ☁️
Docker & Kubernetes knowledge
