Interim Manager Data Platform & Advanced Analytics

The role is fascinating because it's a crucial data platform role with a strong strategic impact, it will power advanced analytics within this prominent financial institution - and you are the driving force behind it.

Key Responsibility

The primary goal of the role is to establish a scalable and stable data platform, centralizing all data analytics products with a clear operating model in place. The platform must support advanced analytics products (e.g. GenAI, MLOps) and ensure continuous operation through well-defined governance and compliance processes.

LEADERSHIP

The role is a leadership opportunity and you'll lead a team of 8-10 individuals, in a dynamic, regulated environment. You report into the CDO (Chief Data Officer).

SENIOR STAKEHOLDERS

You'll be working closely with senior leaders and decision-makers in the bank, and contribute to the strategic direction of the bank's data platform and Advanced Analytics capabilities

YOUR PROFILE

• You need to be strong in conceptual thinking and understand the components of a data platform and how it supports advanced analytics
• You have familiarity with financial services and banking regulations, ensuring compliance and governance in a data platform environment
• Leadership: Experience managing both internal and external teams, especially in a managed service setup (e.g., third-party consultancy outsourcing).
• Non-Hands-on but Technical: Needs in-depth knowledge without requiring hands-on coding. Should have a strong understanding of different components of data platforms, data governance and target operating models
