Machine Learning Engineer

Next Ventures is currently looking for an AI Data Engineer for a project with a Global Consultancy.

• This is a freelance contract - No sponsorship offered
• Initial contract is until 30 / 06 / 2027
• 3 Days per week on site in Paris
• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational performance and industrialize the Multi Generative AI Portal in a multi-environment context (On-Premise, GCP, and upcoming trusted cloud).
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and deployment automation.
• Contribute to security, compliance, and observability of generative AI usage (IAM, secrets, logs, metrics, traces, FinOps).

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Data Engineering / DevSecOps within On-Premise and Cloud environments (GCP).
• Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD, Terraform (IaC), Docker, Kubernetes / OpenShift.
• Solid experience in LLMOps: LLM observability (Langfuse, LangSmith, etc.), automated evaluations, cost and performance management.
• Good understanding of data architectures and generative AI platforms (RAG, LLM, APIs).
