About the Role

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join a Copilot initiative focused on improving the omni-channel consumer experience for Medicare shoppers. This team is building an AI-driven architecture leveraging Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to help consumers find the best healthcare plans for their needs.

You will work alongside engineering and product teams to design, develop, and deploy intelligent solutions that operate cohesively across multiple consumer use cases. This is a highly collaborative role focused on building production-ready AI systems that drive meaningful customer outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI/ML solutions supporting the Copilot initiative
  • Build and deploy models using ML, GenAI, and LLM technologies
  • Apply NLP and transformer-based models to large-scale datasets
  • Develop and optimize RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector database solutions
  • Build APIs to expose and operationalize models in production environments
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams on AI-focused architecture
  • Present technical insights and analysis to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Contribute to scalable, production-ready AI systems


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Python using data science libraries such as scikit-learn and Databricks
  • 3+ years applying NLP, including transformers and GPT, in production environments
  • 2–3 years of experience applying LLMs including RAG, vector databases, and embeddings
  • Experience applying data science techniques in enterprise environments including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, NLP, time-series forecasting, and statistical analysis
  • Experience building APIs for models
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized self-starter able to work with minimal supervision


Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with large-scale production AI systems
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or consumer-facing platforms
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional AI engineering teams
