They are in the process of building a highly formidable trading platform and is seeking to hire an exceptional DevOps Engineer.
Ideal Candidate
Our client is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in distributed systems, blockchain technology, as well as proficiency in Ansible and Terraform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions to revolutionize decentralized ecosystems while optimizing and scaling infrastructure.
Our client is only seeking candidates who have at least 5 years working experience in DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of blockchain-based applications.
- Utilize Ansible and Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure solutions tailored to blockchain technologies.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and system failures.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices across the organization, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Manage cloud-based and on-premises environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Implement robust security practices for infrastructure and applications, including encryption, key management, and access controls.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in blockchain technology and DevOps tools to drive innovation and efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Expertise in Tools: Advanced proficiency with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure as code and configuration management.
- Blockchain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of crypto/blockchain ecosystems, with experience deploying and managing blockchain nodes or decentralized applications.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their respective DevOps services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Security Expertise: Knowledge of securing blockchain networks and DevOps environments, including firewalls, VPNs, and compliance standards.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on delivering efficient and reliable solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with blockchain-specific platforms.
- Previous experience in high-growth or startup environments.
