After successfully launching in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Australia, Brazil and raising an additional $42 million in funding, we have recently launched qlub in Turkey as well.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-End Engineer specializing in Next.js and React.js to lead our front-end development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced web applications that deliver seamless user experiences.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers, to ensure that all web applications are scalable, secure, and performant.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead front-end development efforts by providing technical direction and best practices for using Next.js and React.js
Architect and develop highly responsive web applications with reusable, efficient, and scalable code
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end elements with server-side logic
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in front-end technologies, particularly React.js and Next.js
Optimize application performance for speed and scalability, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Drive UI/UX improvements based on feedback and best practices to deliver an exceptional user experience
Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment
Ensure accessibility and compliance with web standards and best practices
Manage and prioritize tasks for front-end team members in collaboration with project managers
Monitor and improve CI/CD processes for front-end deployments

Required Qualifications

Proven experience 3+ years in React.js and Next.js with a strong portfolio of web applications
Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build pipelines and tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.)
Experience in server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and other Next.js features
Proficiency with state management libraries like Redux, Context API, or Recoil
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
Expertise in using Material-UI (MUI) to build highly responsive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces
Solid understanding of component-based architecture and best practices in reusable UI design
Experience with Firebase Hosting and deploying front-end applications on Firebase infrastructure
Knowledge of version control tools like Git and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with TypeScript in Next.js and React.js applications
Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) and mobile-first development
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Vercel)
