Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join a long-term remote engagement with a globally recognised IT and business consulting services provider. This organisation delivers end-to-end digital transformation solutions across public and private sectors, with a strong reputation for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable technology delivery.

This is a fully remote role based in Sweden, requiring fluency in Swedish and the ability to work effectively within distributed, cross-functional teams.

Contract Details

• Location: Remote (Sweden-based)
• Language: Swedish (essential)
• Contract Length: 12 months initial + extensions
• Engagement Type: Contract with option to transition to permanent
• Rate: Negotiable hourly rate

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, and DevOps engineers
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making
• Perform code reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Python development
• Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken)

Desirable Skills

• Experience working in Agile environments
• Knowledge of containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to data engineering or machine learning projects
• Experience with modern front-end technologies is a plus
