Responsibilities:
• End-to-End NPI Leadership: Oversee new product introduction from concept to mass production, ensuring quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in development, manufacturing, or supply chain; drive mitigation strategies proactively.
• Industrialization Ownership: Lead readiness for materials, equipment, and processes to ensure timely execution of A, B and C samples development milestones and smooth ramp-up to start of production (SOP)
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Align Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Sales teams on expectations and timelines.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external customers, managing multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed NPI project plans, including schedules, phase-gate reviews, validation builds, and production ramp readiness.
• Data & Reporting: Provide regular KPI updates and project status reports to stakeholders.
• Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain teams to secure component availability and production capacity.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive lessons learned into future NPI projects to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Manufacturing, Industrial, or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in Manufacturing/Operations, Engineering, or Production Engineering.
• Industry Background: At least 5 years in the automotive industry, preferably infotainment systems.
• Standards Knowledge: Strong familiarity with automotive standards (IATF 16949, ASPICE).
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electronic components, PCBA manufacturing processes, IPC standards.
• Project Management Skills: Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute complex projects.
• Certification: PMP certification highly preferred.
• Languages: Proficiency in both English and Chinese required
• International travels are required
• Strong leadership and communication skills to align diverse teams.
• Hands-on approach with ownership of industrialization deliverables.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with tactical execution.
• Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders across global and local functions.
• Proven track record of delivering complex automotive projects on time and within budget.
