Product Manager

The role:

We are seeking a data-oriented Product Manager to join our product team to oversee the integration of Nomentia's SaaS platform with customers' source systems. Your main responsibility will be to lead the development team and manage integration projects with partners, ensuring both quality and functionality. To succeed in this role, we hope that you are collaborative and have excellent interpersonal skills. Ideally you are based close to our office in Tampere, Finland, and we offer flexibility for hybrid work.

Your responsibilities:

• Strategic planning: define the product roadmap for (ERP) integration projects, aligning with organizational objectives and customer needs.
• Requirement gathering: collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and prioritize feature development.
• Project execution: lead development team and coordinate integrations development with partners to execute integration projects on time, ensuring quality and functionality.
• Productization: create standard product packages of ERP connectors and API integrations.
• Integrations: manage the integration of ERP systems with existing platforms.
• Stakeholder communication: serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Market research: stay updated on ERP trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to drive innovation.
• Process improvement: continuously evaluate and improve integration processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in system integrations with a preference for candidates with a background in fintech and/or banking.
• In-depth understanding of ERP integration processes and APIs, and strong knowledge of ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite).
• Proven track record in efficient co-operation with diverse teams demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Previous experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• BS/MS in computer science, or a related field.
• Fluent English (written and spoken). Knowledge of any other European languages is seen as a plus.
