Software Engineer

About the Role: 

Autobahn Technologies is looking for a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong focus on backend development to design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and user-friendly frontend interfaces for our SaaS product. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Backend Development: 

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable backend systems using PHP. 
• Develop and optimize database structures and queries using PostgreSQL. 
• Ensure backend performance, security, and reliability. 

Frontend Development: 

• Design and implement responsive, mobile-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 
• Collaborate to develop and refine web pages and interfaces that are intuitive and visually appealing. 
• Test and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices. 

Collaboration: 

• Work with cross-functional team members to align technical solutions with product goals and business needs. 
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot critical issues to ensure product stability. 

Code Quality & Testing: 

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. 
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure optimal system performance and user experience. 
• Utilize AI tools for automated test generation and execution where applicable. 

Qualifications: 

• At least 3 years of backend development experience with PHP. 
• Strong experience in PostgreSQL (or equivalent relational databases) for database development and optimization. 
• Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for frontend development, with familiarity in frameworks like Angular UI. 
• Proven ability to design and build responsive, cross-browser, and mobile-friendly applications. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with SaaS products or similar enterprise-level software systems. 
• Experience utilizing AI tools to automate testing processes. 
• Familiarity with other PHP frameworks or modern web tools is a plus.
