Energy Market Data Analyst
We are looking for an experienced data analyst to work with electricity market data and build forecasting models that support decision-making in power trading.
This role is suited for someone who not only analyzes data but is also able to translate analysis into clear, practical insights for business decisions.
Responsibilities
• Analyze electricity market data (Nord Pool, balancing market).
• Develop forecasting models for electricity prices, consumption and market trends.
• Evaluate portfolio profitability and risk exposure.
• Develop automated analytics and reporting solutions.
• Prepare clear analyses and recommendations to support business decisions.
Requirements
• Experience in data analysis, finance, or the energy sector.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and modelling.
• SQL knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to work with large datasets and build forecasting models.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to present conclusions clearly.
• Experience in electricity markets or power trading is a strong advantage.
• Lithuanian language skills required for internal communication.
