Full Stack Developer

Pareto Securities delivers a complete trading platform for professional investors. A comprehensive and advanced trading platform for investors looking for a one-stop shop for their investments. The fast-moving technological environment within the financial industry entails growth demands. We aim to be at the forefront of evolution while continuing to deliver financial services of the highest degree. To meet the accompanying challenges, we are strengthening our development team with a dedicated full stack developer.

Our development team consists of six skilled professionals: four developers, one UX designer, and a DevOps engineer. We are part of a dynamic IT department of 14 people, which also includes IT support, IT operations specialists and project managers.

We manage our trading platform, main public-facing website, as well as a portfolio of internal applications, APIs, and third-party integrations. Collaboration is at the heart of how we work, with close interaction between our development team, IT operations, project managers, subject matter experts, and external consultants.

Daily stand-ups keep the team aligned, and our culture of open communication ensures seamless knowledge sharing. While you will have specific areas of focus, you’ll also contribute across the board as needed. We value teamwork, continuous learning, and a shared commitment to evolving our solutions and codebase to meet new demands.

Our tech stack is Microsoft-focused, primarily using C# for backend development and Angular/Typescript for the frontend. Our codebase also includes Python and other technologies where applicable. We use Azure DevOps for version control, continuous integration, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test and implement features in our complex web solution for trading financial platform and public-facing website - from front-end to back-end and databases
• Integrate with new and existing third-party systems
• Maintain and improve various internal systems
• Troubleshoot and debug operational incidents
• Be a constructive sparring partner to the rest of the development team

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of experience as a full-stack developer
• Experience with development in C# and/or Typescript/Angular
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in informatics or a related field. Extensive and relevant experience can compensate for parts of the requirement.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both verbal and written
• Interest or experience in the financial sector is positive
