About the Job

We are expanding our studio to start several new game development projects and are seeking a talented Game Producer to join our team in the historic center of Amsterdam. Collaborate with a multinational team of developers and contribute to creating captivating casual gaming experiences for a global audience.

About CoolGames

Founded in 2010, CoolGames is a leading HTML5-specialized studio developing high-quality casual games. We successfully publish our titles via many new ‘Big Tech’ game platforms beyond the traditional app-stores: players can now also instantly start a game from Facebook, Discord, YouTube or Netflix. At the same time, there are still millions of people playing our games via websites each year.

For our games, we work with several famous brands (for example Monopoly, Battleship, Angry Birds) but also created fully in-house IP that became #1 hits on various platforms. We have an ambitious roadmap to start the development of several new game projects in the next months to further expand our portfolio.

About you

You're a natural born organizer who thrives on getting things done while keeping your cool. Stress is no match for you as you effortlessly simplify complex challenges and make decisions when the situation calls for it.

Adapting to changing realities is your forte, thanks to your ability to distinguish between the main issues and the minor ones. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to be direct without turning into a grumpy grouch.

You’ve got the ability to translate major goals into smooth processes and commit to delivering scheduled milestones. You know how to keep track of progress and team output by measurable KPIs. Collaboration is your jam, and you've got that "you can count on me" attitude that brightens any team.

Requirements

The right candidate meets most of the following requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in a Producer role for casual games, preferably in mobile F2P or HTML5 markets
• Worked on several casual games and can show your achievements
• Adept at agile methodologies
• Proficiency in modern project management tools and methodologies
• Analytics-driven and know where to measure and how to apply relevant data metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong presentation skills for conveying project updates and proposals to stakeholders
• A genuine passion for casual games

Your responsibilities will include

• Facilitating decision making & rituals such as standups, reviews and planning sessions
• Lead and oversee the entire game development process from concept to launch
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules
• Continuously monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
• Maintain open and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders,
• Maintain thorough documentation of project plans, decisions, and progress for reference and future analysis
