Friday Energy supplies smart solutions for energy storage and load management. We use data from energy markets, weather predictions, and local energy demand to operate energy storage systems and other energy assets for commercial & industrial applications. By doing this, we help the transition to clean energy. We provide entrepreneurs with solutions to their practical energy problems, helping them save, or even earn money while doing so. Therefore, more renewable energy gets on the grid with minimal infrastructure upgrades.
Software plays a key role within Friday Energy, and we are currently expanding the team. As a software engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and review high-quality code for our service-oriented backend
- Maintain and improve the infrastructure of our platform for connected assets (cloud + edge)
- Ensure that existing and new managed energy assets work reliably and add the most value to our customers
- Help us further optimize existing decision algorithms
- Contribute your ideas to the roadmap and vision of a scale-up company in a fast-growing market
In doing so, you are making a real impact in accelerating the energy transition.
