We are seeking a highly creative UI/UX & Motion Designer with strong expertise in Figma and advanced skills in motion design, interaction design, and visual communication. This role is ideal for a designer who excels at transforming static interfaces into dynamic, engaging digital experiences through animation and interactive design.
The successful candidate will design motion-enhanced UI components, micro interactions, and animated feedback systems that improve usability, clarity, and engagement — while maintaining strict alignment with established design systems and brand standards.
This position plays a key role in elevating the overall product experience by introducing thoughtful motion and interactivity into modern digital interfaces
Responsibilities:
- Design and animate UI components, micro interactions, and motion behaviors that enhance usability and user engagement
- Build high-fidelity interactive prototypes in Figma, including animated flows and transitions
- Create motion assets using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, and Illustrator, and export production-ready animations (e.g., Lottie JSON via Bodymovin)
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and UX designers to ensure accurate implementation and smooth asset handoff
- Develop and maintain motion design guidelines to ensure consistency across design system components
- Translate static interface designs into intuitive, behavior-driven interactive experiences
- Optimize animations for performance across devices and platforms
- Ensure accessibility standards are considered, including reduced-motion alternatives
- Prepare clear documentation for engineering teams, including timing, easing, interaction states, and export specifications
Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, interactive prototyping, and design system workflows
- Strong portfolio demonstrating motion design specifically for digital products and user interfaces
- Expertise in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Adobe Animate, and Lottie/Bodymovin workflows
- Solid foundation in graphic design principles (layout, typography, color, visual hierarchy)
- Strong understanding of interaction design and motion theory (timing, easing, anticipation, hierarchy)
- Experience designing motion that supports user flows, transitions, and system feedback
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to balance creative innovation with technical feasibility
- Awareness of accessibility considerations related to motion and interaction
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system
- Understanding of UX research principles and usability best practices
