Introduction: Why Blueberry?

At Blueberry, great products start with great experiences. We believe design is more than aesthetics, it’s how customers understand, trust, and interact with our platforms every day. Our Technology team works closely with the business to turn complex financial workflows into intuitive, human-centered experiences.

As a Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping how clients engage with our products, transforming ideas into seamless digital journeys that balance usability, performance, and innovation.

Note: At Blueberry, moving with purpose means showing up, connecting, and building momentum together. This role is based onsite in Sydney, Australia, Monday to Friday, where the real magic happens.

Description: About the Role

We’re looking for a thoughtful and hands-on Product Designer to design and optimize Blueberry’s customer-facing platforms across web and mobile. This role blends user research, UX thinking, and visual design, working closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to bring ideas to life.

You’ll own the design lifecycle from discovery through delivery, ensuring every feature is intuitive, consistent, and aligned with both business goals and user needs.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Conduct user research to understand customer behaviours, needs, and pain points.
  • Analyse competitor platforms and industry trends to inform product direction.
  • Translate business requirements into user journeys, user stories, and product experiences.
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web and mobile platforms.
  • Create visually consistent, brand-aligned interfaces that deliver seamless UX.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are practical and implementable.
  • Run usability testing and iterate designs based on insights and feedback.
  • Continuously improve experiences using analytics, testing, and best practices.
  • Simplify complex financial concepts into intuitive and accessible product flows.

Skills and Experiences: Who We’re Hoping to Find

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Design, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI, or similar roles.
  • Strong experience across the full product design lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma or equivalent design tools.
  • Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Strong UX thinking with the ability to balance user needs and business objectives.
  • Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of technical constraints and engineering workflows.

Extra Points if You Have

  • Experience designing within financial services, trading, or fintech environments.
  • Exposure to CFD products or financial markets.
  • Experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, or A/B experimentation.
  • Strong data-informed design approach using analytics and feedback loops.
