Job Title: iOS Software Engineer

Duration: 6-month Contract

Location: UK(Remote) - Flexible to work in US hours

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced iOS Software Engineer with a strong background in Swift, Core Media, and GraphQL to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role involves developing and maintaining cutting-edge media applications for end-users and customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications with a focus on media functionality.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor application performance, identify issues, and provide troubleshooting solutions.
• Code Quality & Testing:
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews for junior developers and offshore teams.
• Test and document proposed solutions to ensure reliability and scalability.
• System Support & Monitoring: Provide ongoing monitoring and support for assigned applications.
• Bug Fixing: Analyze and identify performance issues, log bugs, test fixes, and implement solutions.
• Customer-Focused Solutions: Analyze customer requirements and recommend optimal software solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and align with customer expectations.
• Other Tasks: Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in Swift and a deep understanding of Core Media for media-focused applications.
• Experience with GraphQL for API integrations.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve system performance issues.
• Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior developers.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to write clean, well-documented code and conduct thorough performance analyses.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to US working hours as required.
