Job Description
Commercial Contracting
Role
You will play a central role in supporting commercial teams by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of agreements typical for a technology and cybersecurity‑focused business environment, such as:
- Technology service agreements
- Partner and reseller agreements
- Vendor and supply‑chain contracts
- Cloud / SaaS‑related contracts
- Assist with compliance topics relevant to technology and data‑driven businesses, including data protection, competition rules, and marketing regulations.
- Support internal governance programmes and regulatory documentation.
- Provide practical legal guidance to business units on commercial, operational, and regulatory matters.
- Identify legal risks in ongoing or planned commercial activities and propose appropriate mitigations.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams including sales, procurement, marketing, finance, and operations.
- Coordinate with legal colleagues in other European jurisdictions to ensure consistency of legal documentation and processes.
- Qualified solicitor in the UK or a comparable jurisdiction, with 4+ years PQE.
- Strong background in commercial law and experience working in an in‑house legal environment.
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills in English.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse business stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a pragmatic and solution‑oriented mindset.
