The Director of Corporate Finance will lead M&A advisory, financial modeling, investment evaluation, and valuation engagements within a consulting and advisory environment.
The role requires strong technical depth, client-facing leadership, and the ability to drive complex cross-border transactions. The Director will oversee deal execution, manage client relationships, and support strategic investment decisions across sectors, including financial services, infrastructure, energy, real estate, and diversified groups.
1. M&A Advisory & Transaction Leadership
- Lead buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions end-to-end.
- Oversee financial due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring.
- Lead negotiations and coordinate with legal, tax, and regulatory advisors.
- Prepare investment committee and board-level materials.
- Support capital raising, joint ventures, and restructuring initiatives.
2. Financial Modeling & Valuation
- Develop and review complex integrated financial models (3-statement).
- Conduct DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
- Perform impairment testing, PPA, and fairness opinion support.
- Review model assumptions and sensitivity analyses.
- Ensure model integrity and alignment with IFRS standards.
3. Investment Evaluation & Strategy
- Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation strategies.
- Conduct feasibility studies and commercial assessments.
- Support portfolio optimization and performance improvement initiatives.
- Advise on corporate restructuring and strategic growth planning.
4. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Lead senior client engagement and advisory discussions.
- Present findings to boards, investment committees, and C-level executives.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Support business development and proposal preparation.
5. Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor managers and associates.
- Oversee project timelines, quality control, and deliverables.
- Ensure high standards of analytical rigor and documentation.
Background
- 12+ years of experience in:
- Corporate Finance Advisory
- Transaction Advisory
- Investment Banking
- Private Equity
- Big 4 Deals/Transaction Services background strongly preferred (PwC, EY, Deloitte, KPMG).
- Experience in Qatar or GCC markets preferred.
- Exposure to regulated sectors (banking, infrastructure, and energy) is an advantage.
