Network Engineer

Job Title: Network Engineer (Active SC Clearance Required)

Job Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid in London

Day Rate: £500-525/day (INSIDE IR35)

Contract Length: 6-12 months

Network Engineer - Role & Responsibilities

• Design, configure and deploy routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers in lab and production environments
• Build and test network prototypes to validate design performance, redundancy, and failover scenarios
• Perform detailed network troubleshooting using packet captures, log analysis, and diagnostic tools to resolve complex connectivity issues
• Implement routing, switching, and security configurations (e.g., VLANs, BGP, OSPF, ACLs, VPNs) according to design specifications.
• Execute network migrations, hardware refreshes, and cutover activities with minimal downtime and verified post-implementation testing

Network Engineer - Required Experience

• Active SC Clearance
• 5+ years' experience as a Network Engineer
• Cisco Routing & Switching
• F5 Load Balancing
• Infoblox
• Cisco certifications preferred (CCNP minimum)
