Role Overview
This role sits within a large-scale transformation initiative focused on shifting the organization from traditional project delivery to a mature product management operating model.
The successful candidate will lead the development of a new in-house Enterprise Project Management (EPM) platform, which will replace Planview and support the delivery and governance of up to 20 digital products across the enterprise.
You will play a foundational role in shaping product frameworks, operating models, and long-term platform strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Platform Delivery
- Own and deliver the new in-house EPM platform
- Lead development of enterprise digital products and IT systems as scalable product solutions
- Drive platform adoption and long-term product evolution
PMO Transformation Support
- Support the transition from project-based delivery to product-based operating models
- Help establish enterprise product management frameworks and governance structures
- Enable scalable, repeatable product delivery practices
Roadmap & Backlog Management
- Develop and manage multi-year product roadmaps
- Prioritize complex product backlogs aligned to business value
- Balance strategic initiatives with operational platform needs
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with business leaders, IT teams, and executive stakeholders
- Facilitate product vision alignment and roadmap planning
- Act as the bridge between technical and functional teams
Operational Planning
- Support resource planning and product costing
- Contribute to funding and investment planning discussions
- Drive initiative prioritization across product portfolios
Product Adoption & Growth
- Promote adoption and usage of the EPM platform
- Support training, enablement, and change management efforts
- Continuously evolve the platform based on business feedback
MUST-HAVE Experience
- 4+ years of Product Management experience
- (Prior experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner acceptable if followed by Product Manager tenure)
- Strong understanding of product management frameworks and best practices
- Experience supporting or leading PMO transformation initiatives
- Experience transitioning organizations from project delivery to product operating models
NICE-TO-HAVE Experience
- Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry background
- Exposure to enterprise PMO platforms such as Planview
- Product certifications such as:
- CSPO
- PSPO
- CPM
- PMHQ
