About The Assignment

We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on Senior Project Manager to take full end-to-end ownership of a cross-functional IT and business transformation initiative in a large industrial enterprise environment. You will drive planning, execution, governance, communication, test coordination, go-live, and hypercare, ensuring alignment with established ways of working and decision structures.

You enjoy bringing structure to complex delivery landscapes, proactively managing dependencies, and aligning business, IT, and external partners across multiple parallel workstreams.

Job Description

• Define scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables
• Drive delivery according to governance, stage gates, and structured delivery models
• Track progress against plans and ensure timely follow-up and reporting
• Coordinate readiness across design, build, testing, and cutover
• Plan and coordinate testing phases (SIT, UAT, regression)
• Drive change and communication activities to support business readiness and user adoption
• Coordinate training activities and enable structured knowledge transfer
• Ensure go-live readiness, coordinate cutover, and manage hypercare support
• Close the project formally and capture lessons learned
• Strengthen collaboration across internal teams and external partners
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in complex IT and/or business transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of governance, stage gates, and structured delivery models
• Hands-on experience managing and coordinating testing phases (SIT, UAT, regression)
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple parallel delivery streams and stakeholders
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work across business and IT
• Experience leading projects through go-live, cutover, and hypercare
• Experience driving documentation, readiness activities, and structured knowledge transfer

• Experience from a large enterprise and/or industrial environment
• Background in ERP, financial systems, or workflow/process-related initiatives
• Experience working with external suppliers and multi-vendor setups
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established governance and standards
