Senior Full Stack Engineer

You will design and maintain scalable backend services, build modern web applications, develop APIs and integrations, and explore new technologies to enhance a global, cloud-based platform. Main tech stack: Java, Scala, Angular

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed backend services with strong fault-tolerance and scalability
• Build and improve complex web applications and reusable UI components
• Expand the platform to operate across multiple regions and support global users
• Create reliable integrations and open the system for partner collaboration
• Research and apply modern technologies, including AI, to enhance system capabilities
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support various applications
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers

Requirements

• 6+ years in any backend development with microservices (and proven experience in leading software architecture discussions)
• Solid experience in any frontend development
• Experience with AWS
• Solid experience in building complex web applications
• Skilled in RESTful APIs, SQL, and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB)
• Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset
• Willingness to go to the Lisbon-based office 2 times a week
• Fluent Engish

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of WebSockets
• Experience with Angular 13+
