Java Full-Stack Developer – GS1 Data Exchange

Location: Bucharest / Sector 1 / Hybrid - 3 days/week from the office

Our services include the management of GS1 licenses, product data validation, support in using GTIN codes and GS1 labels, as well as the implementation of digital solutions for data quality.

Job Summary

- We are seeking a skilled Java EE Programmer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Java EE technologies and understands scalable backend architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Java EE–based applications

- Implement business logic using Java, JSF, EJB, and related frameworks

- Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions

- Maintain and improve existing applications

- Follow coding standards and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Java and Java EE (Jakarta EE)

- Experience with technologies such as: JSF, EJB, JPA / Hibernate, JMS, RESTful APIs (JAX-RS),

- Experience with WildFly or JBoss application servers

- Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns

- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational database systems

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
