We are seeking internationally experienced researchers under the TÜBİTAK 2232 International Leader / Young Researcher Program to join our high-value R&D projects in the fields of data science, machine learning, predictive analytics, and automation.

If you are willing to be a part of this developmental atmosphere; We are seeking internationally experienced researchers to lead pioneering projects in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence at our R&D Center.

Your responsibilities:

• Generate meaningful insights from large datasets to create innovative banking solutions
• Develop predictive models to forecast customer behavior and risks
• Contribute to Turkey’s financial ecosystem using the knowledge and experience you gained abroad
• Design innovative and scalable projects aligned with the strategic goals of the R&D Center
• Optimize data infrastructure and enhance automated reporting systems
• Work with Python/R, SQL, ML libraries, and modern data visualization tools
• Present results clearly and effectively to management and stakeholders

This position is specifically designed for researchers living and working abroad.

You must meet at least one of the following experience and recognition criteria:

1. Academic Experience:

Have worked for at least 3 years abroad as a faculty member, researcher, or team leader at a university or public research center.

2. Industry Experience:

Have at least 3 years of full-time R&D experience abroad after undergraduate studies, totaling 6 years of full-time research experience.

3. Highly Cited Researcher:

Have been listed as a “Highly Cited Researcher” in the last 5 years.

4. Top-Tier Institution Experience:

Have worked full-time for a total of 30 months in the last 5 years at at least one of the following institutions:

• Top 100 QS/THE subject-ranked universities
• Top 2500 R&D spending companies (European Commission JRC list)
• Top 250 institutions (Scimago)
• Unicorn companies (CB Insights list)
• Top 1000 most-funded companies in the last 5 years

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must not have resided in Turkey for more than 1 year in the last 3 years
• Must not currently be employed in any public institution in Turkey
• Must not have any mandatory service obligations from any public institution
