Position Title: Senior User Experience (UX) Product Designer
Location: Remote (United States)
Position Status: Contract (6 months, with potential extensions)

Seneca Resources is seeking an experienced Senior UX Product Designer to support enterprise-level digital experiences within a Marketing and Communications organization. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on UX professional who excels at designing intuitive, user-centered experiences across web and mobile platforms while influencing product direction and business outcomes.
In this role, you will lead complex UX initiatives across end-to-end user journeys, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and leverage research and data insights to deliver high-impact design solutions. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior designers and advocating for best-in-class UX practices across the organization.

Position Description:
Seneca Resources is seeking an experienced Senior UX Product Designer to support enterprise-level digital experiences within a Marketing and Communications organization. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on UX professional who excels at designing intuitive, user-centered experiences across web and mobile platforms while influencing product direction and business outcomes.
In this role, you will lead complex UX initiatives across end-to-end user journeys, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and leverage research and data insights to deliver high-impact design solutions. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior designers and advocating for best-in-class UX practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver complex user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI components that create seamless and engaging web and mobile user experiences.
- Develop and evolve UX architecture and design strategies that support scalable, intuitive user interfaces and align with brand standards.
- Partner closely with product managers, developers, marketers, and business stakeholders to prioritize UX efforts aligned with business and user goals.
- Translate user research, feedback, and business requirements into actionable design solutions and product features.
- Collaborate with UX research and data analytics teams to incorporate qualitative and quantitative insights into design decisions.
- Apply experimentation and testing methodologies to validate hypotheses across feasibility, desirability, and viability.
- Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and behavioral analysis to inform UX strategy and product direction.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles, staying current with emerging technologies, UX trends, and industry best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior UX designers, promoting consistent standards, efficient workflows, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to cross-functional and department-wide initiatives that elevate the role of UX in organizational decision-making.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in user experience design, interaction design, or product design.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale digital products across web and mobile platforms.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX strategy, user-centered design, and complex problem-solving.
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional, agile environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present design rationale clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, a creative/technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
