Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Strategic Assistant to be based in Dubai, UAE.


In this role, you will work directly with the Managing Director of the company. You will collaborate with different teams to make sure strategies/projects are on track and help guide the company in the right direction. Additionally, enabling the MD with strategic inputs like competitor analysis and competitor market, trends, new and forward-looking technologies, innovation and operational decision making. Overall, you play a pivotal role in keeping things run efficiently and ensure the focusis on the business goals



Duties and responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the Managing Director, Senior leadership and external agencies regarding operations, project updates, proposals, planning and execution.

• Establish reporting mechanism between different business entities & MD’s office and ensure continued operations across fintech entities.

• Conduct & analyse an extensive market study, competitor benchmarking & provide insight on the trends and opportunities to leverage new services that aligns & enhances the organization’s strategic goals.

• Use competitive intelligence to inform go-to-market strategies and product enhancements / modifications

• Foster a culture of innovation by championing new ideas, technologies, and business models relevant to digital finance.

• Build business review metrics/indicator dashboards, collect reports, analytics to track market trends, regulatory updates, and key performance indicators.

• Ensure business continuity and sustainability by actively supporting the MD with insights & mechanisms to improve performance and bringing robustness in the business



Education & Skills required:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic roles

• Engineer in Computer Science / Electronics / IT and/or Masters (Major in Strategy/Finance) from one of the Premium B Schools (ISB, IIM – A/B/C/L/K, INSEAD, National University of Singapore or similar global institutions)

• Growth-focused leader with a track record of strategy, innovation and execution.

• Strong competitive intelligence and market scanning capabilities.

• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.

• Global market and global industries exposure are required

• Excellent communication skills, cross functional/cultural collaboration and decision-making skills

• Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making capabilities

• Exposure in business analytics and reporting & statistical tools is required

• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tool
