Overview

A high performing trading and technology firm is building a new generation of internal AI agents to streamline decision making, automate workflows, and unlock faster execution across the business. This is a hands on engineering role with real ownership. You will take ideas from prototype to production, measure impact, and keep raising the bar once solutions are live. What you will be building

You will design and build production grade AI agents that coordinate data, tools, and business processes. The work spans engineering fundamentals, model integration, evaluation, and operational excellence.

What you will do

• Build and deploy AI agents in Python for real internal users
• Integrate agents into existing platforms, services, and data pipelines
• Assess third party model options and choose what fits the use case
• Partner with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver usable outcomes
• Own how agents are tested, evaluated, and monitored over time
• Write clean, well tested code with strong reviews, documentation, and CI CD
• Debug issues, improve performance, and drive reliability in production

What we are looking for

• Experience integrating AI or ML libraries and external services into real products
• Evidence you have built agents commercially or through meaningful open source work
• 5 years+ building Python applications in production environments
• Strong Python 3.x skills including asyncio, type hints, and resource handling
• Solid software engineering foundations - modular design, patterns, and maintainable code
