JD for PHP Developer:

We are looking for a Senior PHP Backend Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Symfony and modern PHP development, ideally with exposure to Pimcore. The role involves implementing new backend features, integrating APIs, and supporting a Symfony/Pimcore-based B2C platform. This is a part-time or project-based position suitable for experienced engineers comfortable working in an agile, cloud-integrated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and extend backend functionality using PHP 8+ and Symfony.

• Work with Pimcore data models, configurations, and API integrations.

• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and handle database operations using Doctrine ORM.

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for reliable deployments.

• Collaborate closely with DevOps on CI/CD workflows and cloud environments.

• Work with frontend and QA teams to ensure seamless feature delivery and code quality.

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile team discussions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of professional experience in modern PHP development.

• Strong working knowledge of Symfony (preferred) or Laravel frameworks.

• Experience in API integration, database modeling, and ORM usage (Doctrine/Eloquent).

• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD workflows, and collaboration with DevOps.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented principles and clean, maintainable code practices.

• Good English communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience or working knowledge of the Pimcore framework.

• Familiarity with Docker-based PHP environments.

• Understanding of frontend integration (JavaScript, SCSS, Webpack).

• Experience in multi-market or enterprise-level Symfony applications.
