About The Opportunity

Opportunity in the Information Technology — Software Development & Digital Product Engineering sector. The role sits within an agile engineering organization delivering customer-facing web and mobile products, APIs, and cloud-native services. This is an on-site position based in India, working closely with product, engineering and QA teams to drive predictable delivery and continuous improvement.

Primary Title: Scrum Master

Role & Responsibilities

• Facilitate core Agile ceremonies—Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review and Retrospective—ensuring focus on outcomes and timeboxed execution.
• Remove impediments and coordinate cross-functional dependencies by working with Product Owners, engineering leads, and stakeholders to unblock delivery.
• Maintain and optimise team artifcats in JIRA and Confluence; ensure user stories are well-groomed, acceptance criteria are defined, and sprint scope is realistic.
• Monitor Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, cycle time) and produce transparent reports to improve predictability and delivery cadence.
• Coach the team on Scrum practices and Agile principles, drive continuous improvement initiatives and follow up on retrospective action items.
• Support release planning, coordinate with other Scrum teams (Scrum of Scrums) and escalate risks to programme leadership when required.
