About the Position

Our team is looking for a Python Developer to build and maintain tools by traders and quantitative researchers. In this role, you will work closely with researchers and engineers to develop reliable, high-performance systems that support research, trading, and data analysis. You will contribute to projects that have a direct and visible impact on the company’s results.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Build research infrastructure: develop high-performance libraries and tools for strategy backtesting and large-scale data analysis.
• Develop trading tools: design and maintain the mission-critical monitoring systems used by Traders to manage live market risk.
• Optimize data pipelines: architect robust systems to ingest, clean, and store vast amounts of market data with high integrity.
• Evolve the stack: continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and libraries that can give us a technical edge in speed, scalability, or developer productivity.

What You Bring to the Team

• Deep understanding of Python — not just syntax, but how things work under the hood.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Ability to reason about performance, bottlenecks, and scalability.
• Curiosity and willingness to dive into unfamiliar domains when needed.

What Does Not Matter

• Years of experience — mastery takes time, but we don’t put arbitrary numbers on it.
• Your previous industry — finance or trading experience is not required.

• Base salary range: €4,000 - €8,000 gross per month based on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
