Business Data Analyst (Strategic Marketing Department)

Olpha is one of the largest companies in the Baltic states with 50 years of experience in the production of pharmaceuticals and chemical-pharmaceutical products. This June, the company underwent a rebranding, and the well-known Olainfarm became Olpha.

Olpha invites a colleague to join the Strategic Marketing Department to help achieve the mission of making healthcare accessible.

Main responsibilities:

• Work with large datasets from various sources, including internal sales and market data.
• Collect and analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide structured information to data users.
• Prepare regular reports (regional, overall, project-based), analyze sales performance, and forecast short-term and long-term trends.
• Perform data modeling and interpretation, develop data analysis processes, and integrate them into the economic justification of new products.
• Provide support and training to colleagues in the use of developed analytical tools and processes.

About you:

• Higher education in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis.
• Proficiency in handling large datasets and creating efficient data models.
• Excellent MS Excel skills; knowledge of Power Pivot and Power Query; experience with BI platforms and data visualization is an advantage.
• Experience in developing business cases would be considered an advantage.
• Very good English language skills; knowledge of other foreign languages is appreciated.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, and the ability to propose solutions based on data.
