This position is approximately 60% infrastructure automation and 40% development/scripting, with a strong emphasis on PowerShell scripting, CI/CD pipeline engineering, and enterprise systems administration.

You will play a key role in modernizing legacy environments, migrating “Classic” pipelines to YAML, upgrading enterprise servers, and contributing to next-generation initiatives including AI infrastructure build-out. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can design solutions, develop implementation roadmaps, and execute complex technical projects independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and migrate Azure DevOps Server (on-premises) CI/CD pipelines from Classic to YAML
  • Develop and support .NET web applications across WebForms, MVC, Razor Pages, and Blazor (Server and WASM)
  • Manage IIS, Active Directory, certificate management, networking, and enterprise security configurations
  • Implement containerization solutions using Docker and Docker Compose
  • Support source control and package management using Git, NuGet, and NPM
  • Configure logging, environment settings, and SQL Server integrations
  • Lead technical initiatives including server upgrades, infrastructure hardening, and deployment automation
  • Create detailed technical documentation, implementation plans, and project timelines
  • Present new technologies and architectural approaches to cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate closely with developers, operations teams, and stakeholders to evaluate and implement scalable solutions

Desired Skills:

  • Windows Server 2022+, Windows 11 desktop administration
  • Ubuntu Linux 24 administration
  • Active Directory, IIS configuration, certificate management
  • Networking, machine configuration, and security administration
  • SQL Server database integration
  • PowerShell 7 and Windows PowerShell 5
  • Desired State Configuration (DSCv1 and DSCv3)
  • Strong scripting and automation engineering experience
  • Azure DevOps Server (On-Premises)
  • Build pipelines, deployment groups/environments
  • CI/CD pipeline engineering (Classic and YAML)
  • Git-based source control workflows
  • .NET / .NET Framework
  • WebForms, MVC, Razor Pages, Blazor (Server & WASM)
  • Configuration management and application logging
  • NuGet and NPM package management

Project & Communication Skills:

  • Experience leading multi-week and multi-month technical projects
  • Strong documentation and implementation planning skills
  • Ability to present technical concepts and drive cross-team alignment
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Why This Role Stands Out:

  • High-impact modernization initiative
  • Enterprise-level DevOps transformation work
  • Significant ownership and technical autonomy
