The opportunity

As a Corporate Finance intern, you will support the Corporate Finance team with the preparation of monthly deliverables and other process improvement projects. The intern candidate will have an opportunity to work across different finance sub-functions such as but not limited to: Consolidation, FP&A, Finance Transformation in order to build their knowledge and expertise in these fields to complement their areas of study.

The role

FP&A Related

• Assist in preparation of weekly/monthly presentations for various operating rhythms
• Perform closing procedures and variance analysis
  
  

Consolidation Related

• Assist in preparation of process maps and standard operating procedures
  
  

Finance Transformation

• Assist with IT related initiatives that impact financial forecasting and reporting
• Assist with integration of recently acquired company
  
  

The Requirements

• Studies in Finance or related fields (accounting, commerce, economics, business administration)
• Relevant course work/projects/experience in the field of interest, or relevant leadership or community involvement experience.
• This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French, mainly English.
