Program Manager

Our client, a railway company based in Brussels is currently looking for a Program Manager - Delivery for a 1 year contract + extension.

Job description:

• You report to the Chief Delivery Officer and lead the successful delivery of projects/programs for key internal and external customers.
• You are responsible for end-to-end program management, including planning, scheduling, budget, risks, quality, and overall customer satisfaction.
• You manage Steering Committees, ensure delivery of the business case, and propose adjustments when needed.
• You handle internal and customer reporting, customer relationship management, contract amendments, and stakeholder coordination (including authorities).
• You oversee partner relationships and contractual obligations, lead certification activities with the Safety Director, ensure quality assurance with the Corporate Quality Manager, and manage supply activities with Supply Chain. You also arbitrate priorities, balancing technical, cost, and project constraints.

Requirements:

• You have proven experience as a Program/Project Manager leading multidisciplinary teams delivering safety-related solutions. Experience with integration of Class B or ETCS systems is a strong advantage.
• You are hands-on when needed, adaptable, and able to inspire confidence in changing environments. You are a strong team builder with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and you can turn risks into opportunities.
• Fluency in English is required; French and other European languages are a plus.

Contrat: Freelance

Duration: 12 months + extension

Start date: ASAP

Location: Brussels
